After walking through my own seasons of trauma and loss, I reached a point where I knew I couldn’t keep living the way that I was. It was time to rebuild myself from the inside out and find a new way forward.
Doing the deep work of healing my relationship with myself completely transformed my life — my inner peace, my confidence, and my relationships. Along the way, I discovered the incredible power of breathwork, along with tools that helped me reconnect with my body, release what no longer served me, and create lasting change.
In 2024, I founded Soul Serenity Nashville to bring all of that healing support into one place — a safe, sacred space where others can begin their own journey home to themselves. Whether through private breathwork, coaching/mentorship, or couples sessions, my heart is to guide you as you uncover your own resilience, wisdom, and wholeness. Together we'll clear out old stories, reclaim your gifts, and create real transformation from within, so you can love, lead, and show up more fully- for yourself and the people you love.

What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a healing modality that uses simple controlled breath patterns to take you into a deep state of consciousness where emotional healing can be more easily accessed. It works by helping you bypass the conscious mind and move into the body to access the deeper layers of emotion, while gently supporting the nervous system. It’s a faster way to move stuck energy and tap into a deeply intuitive state while remaining grounded in the body.
In a society that gives limited spaces for emotional catharsis, Breathwork makes it easier to access all that is locked inside. It shows us what we need to see in a safe and supportive container where we remain in the driver’s seat of our experience.

Therapeutic breathwork helps us to bypass the conscious mind and move into the body to access deeper layers of emotion, while gently supporting the nervous system. Moving into a non-ordinary state of consciousness allows us to access a deeply intuitive state where we can release stuck energy and trapped emotions out of the body.
Reduces Anxiety & Increases Capacity for Stress
Research indicates that practices like conscious connected breathwork can positively impact the autonomic nervous system and reduce cortisol, leading to a reduction in symptoms associated with anxiety. By repeatedly guiding the nervous system through the process of activation and release, breathwork can increase its flexibility and resilience. This helps build the capacity to adapt to stress more easily in daily life.

Breathwork creates new neural pathways by promoting neuroplasticity, which involves increasing brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) to support neuron growth and connectivity, enhancing myelination for faster communication, and altering the activity of neural circuits, especially those related to the autonomic nervous system and emotional regulation. This practice stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system for relaxation, improves oxygen and CO2 balance in the brain to reduce stress responses, and enhances neurointegration between brain regions, all of which contribute to the brain's ability to adapt and change over time.
Nervous System & Emotional Regulation
Traumatic experiences can cause the body to develop holding patterns, where energy and unresolved emotions become trapped. Therapeutic breathwork is a somatic practice that helps to release this trapped survival energy and move the nervous system out of a constant state of fight, flight, or freeze. By shifting the nervous system out of a constant "fight or flight" response, this practice promotes deep relaxation and enhances emotional resilience. By changing the body's physiological state, it creates a gateway to safely access and process difficult emotions.
